The singers began making music together in September of 2013. They regularly perform three concerts per year in addition to performances throughout the community. They perform a wide variety of choral music from Renaissance to Contemporary.  Rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings from 7 to 9 PM with music reading sessions for those who are learning at 6:30.  The Alpharetta Community Chorus is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization.

Alpharetta Community Chorus Mission Statement

The Alpharetta Community Chorus promotes life-long involvement in music by providing a non-auditioned opportunity for adult singers to perform a variety of choral styles and voicings. The chorus gives free concerts to enhance the musical offerings in the community, furthering the musical education of both performers and audience members. The Alpharetta Community Chorus supports music-making at all stages by collaborating with local school choirs and enlisting both student and professional instrumentalists as part of their outreach efforts.
