The Alpharetta Community Chorus is comprised of people who love to sing.
Alpharetta Community Chorus
Membership is open to adult singers in the community. No auditions necessary.
“The beauty of a community chorus is that everyone brings various strengths to the group. Some are experienced music readers. Others have wonderful voices. All bring their enthusiasm. Regardless of his or her abilities, everyone with a love of singing has something to offer.”
We are currently on hiatus until we are able to sing together safely again. But we are resilient. We will be back! Here is our musical response to the pandemic:
Rehearsals and concerts are held at the Alpharetta Presbyterian Church.
During the regular season, rehearsals are Tuesday evenings from 7-9 p.m. in the choir room. Fall, Holiday, and Spring concerts occur annually. The fee is $105 for the year.
The Chorus Meets the Composer
We are excited to share this series of interviews and performances with you! We have interviewed and collaborated with Susan LaBarr, André Thomas, Tom Gorman, and Jeffery Ames. We shared delightful conversations, beautiful music, and tremendous insight from the composers regarding their compositions. The first three in the series are available now. The fourth is in production. It is a pleasure to share them with you.
Funding for this program is provided by the Fulton Board of Commissioners.
